Video Entertainment System™ with rear seat DVD player
A new rear seat DVD Video Entertainment System™* is available on Quad Cab® and Mega Cab™ models. This comprehensive system features a 7-inch LCD screen, wireless remote control and two sets of wireless headphones. It is capable of playing video and audio DVDs, audio CDs, and video CDs. Mega Cab offers the DVD system with an available power sunroof.

Ram 1500 has the guts to go with its tough looks, with a range of power to suit your needs, including: 3.7L Magnum® V6 with 215 horsepower, 235 lb-ft of torque and efficient, durable operation. Available with a 6-speed manual or 4-speed VLP (Variable Line Pressure) automatic transmission. 4.7L Magnum V8 with 235 horsepower, 300 lb-ft of torque for excellent acceleration and impressive economy. Available with a 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission.
5.7-Liter HEMI® MDS V8
5.7L HEMI® MDS V8 combines awesome power with great efficiency, offering 345 horsepower and 375 lb-ft of torque. The HEMI gives you power you can feel, and with the Multi-Displacement System (MDS), it seamlessly switches from 8 cylinders to 4 and back when needed, providing an improvement in fuel economy when cruising. Available with a 5-speed automatic transmission.
Ram SRT10 Power

Hydroformed Frame
The Ram frame incorporates a re-engineered hydroformed fully boxed frame with increased torsional rigidity and bending stiffness for enhanced ride and handling capability. Hydroforming is a manufacturing process that uses highly pressurized water, rather than heat, to mould the frame. The result is greater strength and impact absorption, fewer welds, stronger and stiffer structure, less weight and lower noise levels.
Towing & Hitches
Dodge is famous for towing capability, and we've enhanced our reputation with more capability. Even our ultra-high-performance Ram SRT10 Quad Cab is equipped and rated to tow 3697 kg (8150 lb). The available Trailer-Tow Group includes a 750-amp Maintenance-Free battery, Class IV Hitch receiver and a 7-pin wiring harness that includes heavy-duty engine cooling with automatic transmission on 1500.
